Everything behind a trustworthy product story.

Origentra connects products, materials, suppliers, batches, events and evidence into one record, then turns the parts you choose into a Digital Product Passport.

01

Products and batches

Keep a record for each product you sell and each batch you make, so every passport points to something real.

Example

E-bike Battery Pack 500 Wh

Batch BP-2026-118 · Assembled in Chemnitz

  • Products with category, description, image and status (draft, active or archived).
  • Product batches for production runs, and material lots for deliveries of ingredients, components or packaging.
  • Batch codes, production dates and the facility where each batch was made.
  • Archiving instead of deletion, so history stays intact.
02

Materials and origin

Describe what a product is made of and where each material comes from, down to the farm or facility.

Example

Merino wool overshirt

92% merino wool · 8% recycled polyamide

  • Ingredients, raw materials, components and packaging, each with its own record.
  • Composition by percentage or quantity, shown clearly on the passport.
  • Origin recorded as country, then region, then the named farm or facility.
  • The same material can be reused across many products.
03

Supply chain and facilities

Map the organisations and places that handle your products, from the first grower to your own warehouse.

  • Suppliers by type: farms, cooperatives, processors, mills, manufacturers, exporters, importers and your own operations.
  • Facilities with their location, linked to the supplier that runs them.
  • Each supplier and facility carries its own verification state and evidence.
  • Contact details and internal notes stay private.
04

Journey and chain of custody

Record what happened to a batch, where and when, and who held it at each step.

Battery journey

Lithium mine → Refinery → Cell plant

→ Pack assembly → End-of-line test → Packed

  • Provenance events such as grown, harvested, washed, dried, exported, imported, roasted, spun, sewn and packed.
  • Each event tied to a facility, a date and the lots involved.
  • Custody transfers that show when responsibility passed from one party to the next.
  • A clear timeline per batch, ready to publish in a passport.
05

Trace back and trace forward

Follow a batch upstream to the lots it was made from, or downstream to everything a lot went into.

  • Trace back from a finished batch to its upstream material lots and their origins.
  • Trace forward from a material lot to every batch that used it, for example when a supplier raises an issue.
  • Links between lots cannot loop back on themselves.
  • Results presented as a list you can read and export.
06

Certifications and evidence

Attach the documents that support your claims and keep track of when they expire.

  • Certifications with issuer, scope and validity dates.
  • Evidence files, such as certificates, test reports and delivery records, linked to the facts they support.
  • Files are private to your organisation and opened through short-lived signed links.
  • Expired certifications are flagged rather than silently shown as current.
07

Verification states

Every claim shows how well it is supported, using one consistent scale.

  1. Declared
  2. Evidence attached
  3. Reviewed
  4. Externally verified
  • Declared, Evidence attached, Reviewed and Externally verified show progress from claim to proof.
  • Evidence attached, Reviewed and Externally verified require evidence on file.
  • Editing a reviewed fact sends it back for review.
  • Externally verified records the independent organisation that verified it.
08

Passports, QR codes and PDF

Publish a curated public passport for a product or batch and put it on the pack.

  • Passports are built from an allow-list of public fields. Private notes, prices, logistics references and files are never included.
  • Disputed and superseded information is left out automatically.
  • Each publication is a new version with a content hash, and earlier versions are kept.
  • Download a QR code for packaging and a PDF of the passport for partners.
09

Import and export with CSV

Bring in the records you already keep in spreadsheets, and take your data with you at any time.

  • CSV import with validation that reports problems row by row instead of accepting bad data silently.
  • CSV export of your records whenever you need them.
  • Exports are prepared so spreadsheet formulas cannot run from exported cells.
10

Reports

See where your records are strong and where they need attention.

  • Verification coverage across products, batches and suppliers.
  • Certifications approaching or past their expiry date.
  • Claims still awaiting evidence or review.
11

Roles and audit

Give each person the access they need, and keep a record of what changed.

  • Five roles: Owner, Admin, Editor, Reviewer, Viewer.
  • Permissions are checked by the application and again by the database.
  • An audit log of material actions, such as publishing a passport, changing a verification state or inviting a member.
  • Invitations by email, with no public sign-up.

Give every batch a story your customers can check.

Start with one product and one batch. Record where it came from, attach the evidence you already hold, and publish a passport when you are ready.
